Nakyia Ussery 

Nakyia has always had a passionate heart set on art since she was a young girl growing up in Southeast Washington, DC. From an early age, her artistic spirit led her to audition for the prestigious Visual and Performing Arts program at Suitland High School in Maryland, where she discovered and nurtured a deep love for photography. Embracing the timeless, hands-on traditions of film photography, Nakyia later expanded her horizons into the vibrant world of digital photography at the University of the District of Columbia.

Throughout her educational journey, Nakyia explored a diverse array of photography styles, including fashion, fine art, agriculture, landscape, food, commercial, and documentary. Each lesson and experience has been a stepping stone, guiding her to create unique and captivating bodies of work. With a relentless drive and a vision to share the beauty she captures, Nakyia continually strives to inspire and connect with others through her lens. Her journey is a testament to the transformative power of art and the unwavering pursuit of one's passion.
